The fused glass pictures that Iris creates start as a piece of clear art glass which is then worked using various glass components. Once Iris is happy with the piece it is fused and then mounted, either in a frame or onto a canvas background.
Because each piece is one hundred per cent glass the pictures are not adversely affected by strong sunlight if hung in a sunny room or conservatory.
